Kao što je najavljeno skoro na netu, Zack De La Rocha (Rage Against the Machine) i Jon Theodore (ex The Mars Volta) su napravili bend pod imenom One Day As A Lion. Ime su pozajmili od poznate fotografije Džordža Rodrigeza iz 1970 godine koja je nazvana "It's Better To Live One Day As A Lion Than A Thousand Years As A Lamb". Prvi EP izlazi 22. jula. Ne znam što ga bukvalno trpaju u hip-hop, mogli su bar da dodaju pridev 'gitarski' :) Sve u svemu zvuči interesantno. Zakov glas je tu sa svim svojim elementima, RATM prizvuk takođe. Na Oceans View imate utisak kao da su se Soundgarden i Rage Against the Machine sreli i napravili kolaboraciju.

Još jedno ludilo je gotovo. Punkerski Exit ? Tako nešto ! Ja sam ga bar tako doživeo ne samo zbog zadnje večeri, već je dosta bendova ako ništa drugo bar imalo 'punk korene' kad je počinjalo. A i šta ću kad sam pristrasan :P Dok se dosta njih 'zgražavalo' na činjenicu da nisam gledao NERD i The Streets ili Manu Chaov nastup u celosti, ja sam samo odgovarao da sam bio iskren i gledao ono što mi je duša 'tela. Svaka čast pomenutima, daleko od toga da ne valjaju ali nisam hteo da lažem sebe - ja to jednostavno ne volim. Dok su oni svirali prvo veče, iskoristio sam priliku da popričam i popijem nešto sa starim prijateljima koje viđam uglavnom na exitu kao i da se procunjam sa njima oko fusion stage-a koji je ove godine bio 200% po mom ukusu ! Činjenica je i to da ne slušam Paula Wellera ali sam odgledao pola koncerta. Primal Scream ne slušam takođe, ali sam i te kako uživao u koncertu koji je bio fenomenalan. (glas iz publike) "Pa šta koj kurac si ti išao na EXIT ?!" Sasvim jednostavan odgovor - da bi mi bilo lepo :) "Jaooo 'bem te životeee KUD mi ode mlados' !?" A evo i nekog spiska, šta je uspelo da bude uhvaćeno u onoj jurnjavi: THE BELLRAYS THE PRESETS KUD IDIJOTI THE HIVES PEKINSKA PATKA SEX PISTOLS MARKY RAMONE Lira Vega Gogol Bordello Kultur Shock LOLLOBRIGIDA ZBOGOM BRUS LI e pa da vidimo fotke i klipove sa kojima sam pokušao da 'uhvatim' atmosferu ovog Exita koga već svi pljuju i hvale naokolo... Update: Complete (yes! ENTIRE) video concert WAS at fabchannel.com. Buaaah! They removed almost one half of the songs !

"On request of the artist only a limited number of songs from this concert will continue to be available online. Mike Patton informed us however that he considers to release a Mondo Cane DVD in the future."

This is THE FIRST MONDO CANE SHOW outside of Italy !

So… THE POLICE was here in Serbia ! This was very special to me because this is another band which has marked my happy childhood (“stop with that childhood thing” I hear in the background?) and this was ONLY concert in southeastern part of Europe. Songs list was very well, they covered most significant stuff in their carrier and all I can say is THANKS. Sting voice was great, even he slightly changed some vocal performance (Ages? Highest tones are not so easy to perform like when he was young, so we can understand that). Overall this was excellent show! Mr. Andy Summers, great guitarist which played (and composed) one of most beautiful melodies in rock guitar history was also absolutely correct but I must admit that Copeland was definitely my favorite of the show because he was the best musician that night. And I cannot forget Oysterhead with him and Les Claypool few years ago ;) this cooperation was so unexpected to me! Sound was great and most people said they couldn’t believe that 3 men could sound like that. The audience was not so loud and wild and that’s maybe only one negative note by people who attend the show. I guess it’s just about average age of the audience and terrible heat because it was very warm day in Belgrade. The Police was also so wet on the stage from sweat! I can’t remember last time when I sang so loud on some concert. I was not so close to the stage but I could manage some nice pictures and videos. Good audio record from Zu+Patton in Budapest

You can find good audio MP3 of Zu+Patton concert in Budapest (13-6-2008) on some torrent sites. Guy who put this on-line wrote "I recorded with Zoom [Zu-m] H2 (in 24bit/44,1Khz wav format) and edited in Sound Forge with Waves pluginz."

Look at demonoid.com (and if you are from Serbia on SBB, try EUC torrent)
